Ingredients

  • 1 Pack of Ainsley Harriot lentil dahl
  • 1 Pack microwave rice
  • 1 Tin chickpeas in water
  • 4 eggs
  • Olive Oil Frylight
  • 1 hot chilli finely chopped Optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare a loaf tin by spraying with Olive Oil Frylight
  2. Cook the lentil dahl following pack instructions
  3. Cook the microwave rice
  4. Drain and rinse the chickpeas
  5. Mix these ingredients together in a large mixing bowl with the optional chilli
  6. Add the eggs and combine everything together thoroughly
  7. Put the mix into the prepared 1 kg loaf tin. Place in the oven 200/180 fan for 25 minutes

  8. When cooked take the loaf out of the oven and allow to stand for 15 minutes

  9. Loosen the edges with a palette knife and turn out onto a plate
  10. For a different flavour you can add chopped chorizo into the mix – 3 syns for 25grams
  11. Serve with fresh salad vegetables of your choice.
